Care Instructions:

Before Use:

Enjoy unboxing your new purchase! (And make sure to remove all labels and packaging).

Wash your Le Creuset product with hot water and soap, rinse it thoroughly, and dry it well.

While Cooking:

Protect yourself: always use oven mitts when handling hot cookware.

We recommend using Le Creuset heat-resistant silicone, wooden, or plastic utensils. DO NOT use knives or metal utensils, as they may scratch or leave marks on the enameled surface.

Use the product on the most appropriate-sized burner: food will cook more evenly, and you'll reduce the risk of damaging the handles and sides. This is especially important with induction cooktops—using an incorrect-sized burner may prevent the cooktop from "recognizing" the product.

Cooking on medium or low heat gives you the best results, even for frying and searing. If you want to cook food evenly, let the pot warm up gradually. If you need high heat, reduce the intensity once you've reached the desired temperature.

Never slide the product over burners or a glass-covered cooktop, as you could damage both the cookware and the glass. Always lift the product to place, remove, or move it.

Cleaning:

Wait for the product to cool before cleaning.

Remove any leftover food from the base and sides with a cloth or paper towel. If food is stuck, fill the product with hot water and soap, let it soften for 15 or 20 minutes, and then clean as usual.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, scrubbers, or metal brushes on any surface.

Dry thoroughly after washing and store in a dry place.
